LIIFT4/10 Rounds Hybrid

Yesterday I completed my latest workout program! It was a combination of two of my favorite Beachbody programs, LIIFT4 and 10 Rounds. The hybrid program was 4 weeks long, with six workouts a week. Each week I would have 4 lifting days from either LIIFT4 or 10 Rounds, and then 2 days of boxing from 10 Rounds. Sundays would be recovery days.

I can’t believe how far I’ve come since the first time I finished LIIFT4 over a year ago. I’m so much stronger and my endurance and stamina have improved so much. This time around, I rarely had to modify the HIIT exercises, and by week 4, I was deadlifting 30-lb dumbbells! Even my triceps pushups have gotten better!

And I have FINALLY caught on to the footwork in 10 Rounds! During the first time around, I couldn’t get coordinated enough to do the footwork, let alone the punching combinations, but now I’m able to do everything and it made the boxing days that much more fun.

Joel Freeman is such a great trainer and he makes the workouts so much fun. I’m really excited about doing this hybrid program again to finish out 2020.

When I look back at the year 2020 and how crazy it has been, I know I wouldn’t have survived as well as I have without the Beachbody workout programs. Because I didn’t have to leave the house, I could do the workouts at my convenience whenever I wanted. It didn’t matter that the gyms were closed. I had everything I needed at home. I could have let the pandemic give me an excuse to just skip working out altogether, but exercise is great therapy for me and so I kept working out. My eating hasn’t been the best this year; I’ve eaten a LOT of comfort food and drank SO. MUCH. WINE. However, I tried my best, and most days I managed to eat healthy foods and along with the exercise, I didn’t gain weight and have stayed healthy throughout this pandemic.

There is a new program coming out this month and I’m so excited to be starting it in January. It’s a 9-week program that will not only focus on exercise, but also on nutrition and mindset. If you want more information, I’d be happy to talk to you about it. The pandemic is going to be around for a while longer; it could be summer or fall of 2021 before things get back to “normal”, so why not decide NOW that you want to get serious about your health? I’d love to help! Just shoot me an email at or check out my coaching website. Wouldn’t it be an awesome Christmas present to give to yourself? Treat yo’ self!

Finally, I have some exciting news that I’ll be sharing very soon! But for now, I’ll just leave this right here…..

May your glass always be full,
