Fitbit Inspire HR Review

I received the Fitbit Inspire HR as a birthday gift from my husband in July.  As promised, I wanted to give a review.

I decided to retire my old Garmin watch and decided to try a Fitbit this time around.  I chose the Inspire HR because it’s smaller and lightweight.  It’s also a great, affordable price at $99.  I went with the white color.

So far, I absolutely love this watch!  It keeps track of my steps, my heart rate, and my calories burned.  It also keeps track of my sleep and physical activity.  This thing is very intuitive and accurate in tracking my activity.  It seems to know when I’m on the treadmill without me changing anything on the settings.  I went for a bike ride the other day and it knew somehow that I was riding, even though I didn’t change the activity settings.

The thing that I like most about it, though, is that it alerts me every hour to let me know that I only have so many steps to meet my goal, and so it reminds me to get my ass out of the chair and move.  It also gives me a notification when I’ve met my goal of 10,000 steps, including a fun celebration display on my watch to tell me what a great job I’m going!  Hey, it’s the little things, right?

The battery life on it is really good.  I only have to charge it once a week.

You can sync your watch with your phone and your watch will notify you of calls, texts, emails, etc., but I chose not to do this because then my watch is constantly buzzing and interrupting and it’s just too much mind clutter for me.

Overall, this is a great, affordable fitness tracker if you want something simple, accurate, and lightweight.

Have a great rest of your week!

May your glass always be full,
