Happy Monday to ya! I hope you had a nice, relaxing weekend! I know I did! I finished reading my friend’s first novel (it was fantastic – here’s the link https://www.amazon.com/Scouts-Honor-Joanne-Salemink/dp/1983597910/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1520874931&sr=8-1&keywords=scout%27s+honor); I started Season 2 of Jessica Jones on Netflix; I had a wonderful afternoon of lunch and shopping with the hubby; and I finally got to see the movie Black Panther! Black Panther was amazing, you guys! My husband also brought the grill and patio furniture out of hibernation and despite it only being 44 degrees outside, we decided that we’d had enough of winter and we were going to hang out, grill some dinner, listen to some music, and have a cocktail!
I just wanted to share some of my current favorite meals. Here are a couple of breakfast meals that I’ve been eating just about every morning:
Berries have been in abundance at the grocery store recently, so I’ve been eating them like crazy. I like to soak some oats and chia seeds in some unsweetened soy milk first thing in the morning. I let them soak for about 30 minutes while I work out or do other stuff. Then I top them with fresh berries, sliced banana, and some type of nut butter, chopped walnuts, hemp seeds or pumpkin seeds. I’m also loving smoothie bowls topped with granola, fresh berries, and hemp seeds. Yum!

Finally, whenever I crave comfort food, a good ole’ grilled cheese sandwich with some avocado really hits the spot!
I love the Daiya slices! They melt perfectly into an ooey, gooey, get-in-my-belly goodness!
